The Digital Trap
I have thousands of photos of my kids – and only a handful printed. I am the first person guilty of falling into the trap of beautiful photos left scattered around the internet.
I want better for myself, and for you. This is a guide to the products I offer for purchase through my professional lab, and how you can best print your photos on your own. You have full rights to print and share your images online – these photos are your family, your stories, your memories.
Also called gift prints, these are the standard prints we think of when we order photos. The key to high quality photos lies in the printing process and paper – you want your photos to last and that depends on your chosen lab using archival materials to produce your photos to ensure they are durable and will stand the test of time & environment.
Budget “Throw-Away” Prints
It’s a sad truth that many items like invitations, announcements, and holiday cards that are mailed out are often tossed in the trash or a box to be shoved in the closet. Sometimes you want a really high quality card anyway (see below for that) – and sometimes a more budget friendly option is best. These options also work well for kids projects!
