I teamed up with Eureka Recycling & their Zero Waste Events coordinator to create a strategic new program that could advance their mission within the commercial sectors, generate more funding for their initiatives, and continue to keep their waste services accessible for consumers.
The Partner Portal was designed to incentivize Zero Waste initiatives in B2B relationships, particularly with event vendors. This was integrated through trainings, a certification program, and a vendor referral network.
An additional goal was to minimize the amount of employee hours dedicated to supporting businesses & organizations in reducing event waste. With this in mind, The Partner Portal incorporated event planning content & resources to support coordinators.
I created a social media plan to expand reach among both consumers and B2B markets, designed to engage new viewers with Zero Waste as accessible, whole life opportunities – rather than exclusiely catering to those already engaged in the mission.
