I was so honored to be included in this program, and for the opportunity to work with this team of partners to make something awesome happen in Hastings. SC Toys owner, Barb Hollenbeck, wanted to create more opportunities for older kids in the community, and partnered with Parks & Rec and Hastings PD to make that happen. Through an HPAAC grant, I was able to create tailored programming for the events, and they were a big hit! I look forward to building on this in coming years, we will begin planning for 2023 soon!
